All this tinkering has a way of expanding the backlog, though. Once I started poking around mod folders and load orders again, I found myself browsing for other soulslikes and metroidvanias to test my newly thickened glove against — and my wishlist quietly grew into something resembling a phone book. That is usually the moment when patience stops being a virtue and becomes a waiting game for the next seasonal sale, which is exactly the kind of thing a steam deal finder(https://dealnesthq.com/ ) is built for. It saves you from refreshing store pages and guessing when a price will finally dip. It is a small quality-of-life upgrade in the same spirit as the mods above: nothing dramatic, just less friction between you and the part you actually enjoy.
